4. PREPARE YOUR APPLICATION DOCUMENTS
a) CURRICULUM VITAE
– Use a clean, chronological format.
– Start with a personal profile (2‑3 lines) that directly references the key responsibilities of the Field Facilitator role.
– List professional experience in reverse chronological order; for each position include: organisation name, dates, location, a brief description of the project, and bullet points (max 5) that quantify achievements (e.g., “Formed 12 VSLA groups comprising 240 women, achieving 85 % loan repayment rate”).
– Add a separate section for technical competencies (VSLA, DreamSave, KoboToolbox, market linkage, livestock services).

– Summarise why you are an ideal fit: align your 5‑plus years of experience, VSLA expertise and digital tool usage with the job description.
– Mention an example of a successful livelihood intervention you led in a comparable context (e.g., “Co‑facilitated a vocational training programme for 150 youth that resulted in a 30 % increase in income within six months”).
– Conclude with a statement of commitment to the organisation’s values of gender equality, neutrality and safeguarding.

c) SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS
– Copies of academic certificates and transcripts.
– Any relevant training certificates (e.g., VSLA facilitator, digital financial services, safeguarding).

• Register using a professional email address.
• Fill out the personal details exactly as they appear on your identification documents.
• Upload the CV, cover letter and supporting documents in PDF format (each file not exceeding 2 MB).
• Review the application for any missing fields or typographical errors.
• Submit before the deadline: 15 December 2025.

6. INTERVIEW PREPARATION (if shortlisted)
a) KNOWLEDGE REVIEW
– Refresh your understanding of VSLA life‑cycle: group formation, savings mobilisation, loan disbursement, record‑keeping, group governance and graduation criteria.
– Practice navigating the DreamSave app; be ready to discuss how digitalisation improves transparency and reduces processing time.
– Study basic concepts of livelihood programming: value‑chain analysis, market assessment, apprenticeship models and gender‑responsive approaches.
– Review the latest USAID guidance on economic empowerment and safeguarding.

b) SCENARIO‑BASED QUESTIONS
– Prepare responses for situations such as: “A VSLA group is experiencing low repayment rates; how would you intervene?” or “A community member complains about perceived bias in group selection; how do you address it while maintaining neutrality?”

c) PRACTICAL DEMONSTRATION
– You may be asked to deliver a short (5‑minute) simulated training session on VSLA record‑keeping. Prepare a concise slide or flip‑chart outline and rehearse clear, participatory delivery.

d) PERSONAL COMPETENCIES
– Highlight empathy, cultural sensitivity and conflict‑resolution skills with concrete examples.
– Emphasise your ability to work independently in remote field settings, manage travel logistics and maintain safety protocols.

e) QUESTIONS TO ASK THE PANEL
– Inquire about the scale of the VSLA network in Hnila and the current digital adoption rate.
– Ask about the performance monitoring framework and the tools used for data collection.
– Clarify expectations regarding travel frequency, accommodation arrangements and security measures in Cox’s Bazar.

7. POST‑INTERVIEW FOLLOW‑UP
• Send a thank‑you email within 24 hours to the interview panel, reiterating your enthusiasm for the role and referencing a key discussion point from the interview.
• Attach any additional documents that were requested during the interview (e.g., a detailed work plan).

8. CONTINUOUS SELF‑DEVELOPMENT (while waiting for the outcome)
– Enroll in an online refresher course on digital financial services (e.g., Mobile Money Management).
– Review recent literature on climate‑resilient livelihoods in the Rohingya host community context.
– Practice Bengali‑Chittagonian conversational phrases to improve rapport with local beneficiaries.

By following the steps above you will present a well‑tailored, evidence‑based application and be fully prepared to demonstrate the technical and interpersonal capabilities required for the Field Facilitator‑Livelihood position at Pulse Bangladesh Society. Good luck!
