Purpose of this document
The aim is to help you organise every step that leads to a successful application for any of the vacancies announced by Sena Public School and College (Savur Cantonment). Follow the instructions carefully, keep copies of all documents, and respect the deadlines that are mentioned in the notice.

2. Timeline you must respect

- 06 Nov 2025 – Online application portal opens.
- 23 Nov 2025, 23:59 – Deadline for submitting the online application and paying the service charge.
- 28 Nov 2025 – Written examination (1000 minutes) at the college campus.
- After 28 Nov – Oral and practical tests (date announced by SMS/E‑mail).

Do not postpone any step; once the portal closes no late entry is accepted.

3. Prepare the required digital documents

Create a dedicated folder on your computer (or a USB stick) named “SPS‑Application‑YourName”. Keep the following files in PDF format, each not larger than 2 MB:

1. Recent colour passport‑size photograph (background white).
2. Scanned image of your signature.
3. Academic certificates (graduation and master’s degree). Include mark‑sheets showing the class/division.
4. Experience certificates (if you have teaching or relevant work experience).
5. For the Office Superintendent: retirement order, rank certificate, and discharge book copy.
6. National ID (NID) front and back.
7. Birth certificate or passport (to prove age).
8. For cleaners: marriage certificate (male candidates) and JSC/8th result card.

Rename each file clearly, e.g., “YourName_Photo.pdf”, “YourName_Signature.pdf”, “YourName_Masters_Certificate.pdf”.

4. Online application step‑by‑step

1. Open the official site: www.spscsavarcantt.edu.bd or the direct job link https://spscsavarcanttjobs.apply.ac
2. Click “Apply Now” and select the vacancy you are interested in.
3. Fill in personal details exactly as they appear on your NID (name, father's name, DOB, etc.).
4. Upload the scanned files in the order requested. The system will validate file size and format; if an error appears, correct it immediately and re‑upload.
5. Pay the service charge using a valid debit/credit card or mobile banking:
- Assistant Teacher – BDT 700
- Office Superintendent – BDT 500
- Cleaner – BDT 400
Keep the transaction reference number.
6. After payment, the portal generates a “Money Receipt”. Print it on a plain A4 sheet and save a digital copy.
7. Click “Submit”. The system will display a confirmation number. Write this number on the printed receipt – you will need it later to download the Admit Card.

5. Admit Card – download and print

- Log in to the portal using your application number and password on or after 24 Nov 2025.
- Locate the “Admit Card” link and download the PDF.
- Print the card in colour (photo must be visible) and keep it safe. You will not be allowed to sit for the written exam without it.

6. Preparing for the written examination

Assistant Teacher – English

- Paper pattern: Usually 100 multiple‑choice questions + short answer; topics cover English grammar, comprehension, vocabulary, and teaching methodology.
- Syllabus reference: “Bangladesh National Curriculum – English Language (Class 1‑10)”, “Teaching of English as a Second Language”.
- Study routine (4 weeks):
1. Week 1 – Review grammar rules (tenses, voice, reported speech, conditionals).
2. Week 2 – Read at least one newspaper editorial daily; practise summary writing.
3. Week 3 – Solve past papers of BPSC English or similar exams; time yourself.
4. Week 4 – Focus on teaching‑related questions (lesson‑plan design, classroom management).

- Recommended books: “High School English Grammar & Composition” (M. M. Bhasin), “Teaching English Language” by Michael Swan, recent BPSC English model papers.

Office Superintendent

- The written test is likely to assess general knowledge, basic arithmetic, and English comprehension.
- Revise national history, Bangladesh Army hierarchy, basic office procedures, and simple calculations (percentage, ratio).

Cleaner (Male/Female)

- Tests are usually very basic: Bangla and English language basics, arithmetic, and general knowledge.
- Practice with “Bangla Primary School” textbooks and simple math worksheets.

General preparation tips

- Keep a notebook for formulas, verb tables, and useful phrases.
- Simulate exam conditions: 1000 minutes total, but divide time (e.g., 2 hours for multiple‑choice, 30 minutes for short answers).
- Ensure you have a reliable internet connection for any online mock tests.
- Get enough sleep the night before the exam; a fresh mind improves recall.

7. After the written exam – oral & practical stages

- Assistant Teacher – Expect a teaching demonstration (10 minutes) and an interview.
- Prepare a 20‑minute lesson plan on a topic from the class‑9 English syllabus.
- Practice answering typical interview questions: “Why do you want to teach at Sena Public School?”, “How would you handle a disruptive student?”, “Explain your method for improving reading skills.”
- Office Superintendent – Interview will focus on leadership, discipline, record‑keeping, and familiarity with army protocols.
- Review your service record, note key achievements, and be ready to discuss problem‑solving examples.
- Cleaner – Practical test may involve a short cleaning‑demonstration; show efficiency and neatness.

Keep your mobile phone active; the institution will send SMS/E‑mail with exact dates and venues. Do not miss any notification.

8. Day‑of‑exam checklist

- Admit Card (printed).
- Original NID (for verification).
- A pen (black ink) and a transparent ball‑point for multiple‑choice (if required).
- Water bottle (no labels).
- Arrive at least 30 minutes early to complete security checks.

9. Post‑selection – documentation for appointment

If you receive an appointment letter, you will be asked to submit original certificates for verification. Prepare a folder with:

- Original degree certificates and mark‑sheets.
- Service record (for Office Superintendent).
- Marriage certificate (for male cleaners).
- Two passport‑size colour photos (for the personnel file).

The school will also deduct PF, tax, and provide benefits (housing allowance, medical, festival allowance, gratuity). Read the appointment letter thoroughly; sign only after you understand all clauses.

10. Common pitfalls to avoid

- Missing the 23 Nov deadline (the portal closes automatically).
- Uploading blurred or cropped photos/signature – the system will reject them.
- Forgetting to print and keep the Money Receipt – required for any later verification.
- Ignoring the age limit; the age is calculated as of 23 Nov 2025.
- Paying the service charge through an untrusted third‑party site – always use the official portal link.
- Not saving the Admit Card – you cannot enter the exam hall without it.

11. Final advice

- Start the preparation at least three weeks before the application opening date.
- Keep all electronic files backed up on a cloud service (Google Drive, Dropbox) in case of hardware failure.
- Practice speaking English aloud daily; confidence in the interview is as important as academic knowledge.
- For the Office Superintendent position, be ready to present your retirement documents in the exact order requested; any missing paper may lead to disqualification.
- Maintain a calm and organized approach; the selection process is competitive, but systematic preparation greatly improves your chances.

Good luck with your application! If you follow each step, you will present yourself as a well‑prepared and eligible candidate for the respective post at Sena Public School and College.
